Harnessing the full potential of renewable sources requires addressing different policy, regulatory, and technical planning aspects which currently inhibit the expansion of the transmission system. The ESMAP funded study, “Creating Renewable Energy Ready Transmission Networks: Review Emerging Practices and Recommendations” is addressing these challenges.
