June 2 2015 World Progressing on Sustainable Energy Goals But Still Far From Finish Line The world is heading in the right direction to achieve universal access to sustainable energy by 2030 but must move faster, says a new report, co-authored by ESMAP, that tracks the progress of the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) initiative.

The Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) will work with ESMAP to deliver targeted technical assistance that will help developing and middle-income countries integrate large shares of wind and solar energy into their electricity grids.

A new report developed by ESMAP and the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves builds a strong evidence-based case for accelerating clean cooking and heating solutions in pursuit of sustainable development. It provides a comprehensive picture of the current state of the sector; maps sector demand and supply trends; and provides a first-ever global baseline and market forecast for solutions.
