ESMAP Outlines Ways to Scaling Up Deployment of Grid-Connected Renewable Energy Technologies at DFIDâs UK Event

UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) invited ESMAP's participation at the Chatham House Conference on “Advanced Market Commitments for Low Carbon Technology: Creating Demand In Developing Countries”, held in London, on January 28, 2010. At the event, ESMAP introduced its Renewable Energy Market Transformation Initiative (REMTI) which supports a scaling-up of analytical and advisory support to client countries for grid-connected deployment of renewable energy technologies.
ESMAP's Renewable Energy Market Transformation Initiative aims to assist clients to scale up deployment of grid-connected power Renewable Energy Technologies. REMTI targets developing country governments and private sector stakeholders engaged in the adoption, adaptation, and deployment of identified RE technologies for grid-connected power generation.
