Call for Papers for Grid Reliability and Utility Operations Conference

EEG and ESMAP invites you to a Call for Papers and Presentations at the Grid Reliability and Utility Operations Conference.  The conference will showcase findings from emerging research on the challenges that utilities in low- and middle-income countries face in delivering reliable, sustainable electricity to customers. Additional information is provided below.

Authors wishing to be considered for the conference should submit full-length papers (even in draft form) or abstracts to eeg@opml.co.uk by November 1, 2019. Accepted authors will be notified by November 15, 2019.  For further details, see the full call note

Topics covered are expected to include: the impacts of unreliable electricity supply and the role of technology and utilities in increasing reliability; the impacts of non-technical losses and the remedial measures available; power sector reform, including tariff setting and market structures; dispatch diagnostics; and the technical and human resource constraints facing utilities.
